Contract Update:City Council Approval & Next Steps

Dear Members,

We are pleased to report that today, the San Jose City Council unanimously approved our new contract. The TA received a 96% YES vote. 

Further, we are pleased to confirm that the negotiated $5,250 lump-sum payment is scheduled to be included on your July 10th paycheck. For your reference, you can review the full text of the agreement here.

For those of you interested in the POST certification process, we will send a separate email with detailed instructions this week. Please keep an eye out for that communication.

We also appreciate the City team and City Council for working with us to get this agreement across the finish line.
